GodStruck Performs Live at Rushmore Ampitheater! On Sunday, August 5, GodStruck had the opportunity to perform at one of this nation's most recognized icons, Mt. Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The band played a one-hour set for the visitors to the mountain. It was a beautiful night, and the setting was spectacular. GodStruck donates to local family On Sunday, December 17, GodStruck held a concert at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. There was a great turnout, with well over 200 people attending! The night started off with an excellent performance by a local women's group, the Java Jives. GodStruck then took to the stage for a night of music, fun, and fellowship. Near the end of the concert, all children were invited up to the stage to sing a couple of Christmas carols with the band. The main highlight of the evening was the presentation of a check for over $700 to the Cody Whiting family. GodStruck had been informed of Cody's foot surgery early that week, and they were determined to find some way to help. After going door-to-door to some local businesses, the group had raised nearly $500. In addition to that amount, GodStruck decided to donate 40% of their concert earnings to the family. When all was added up, the band presented a check for $707 to the Whiting family. What an awesome night! |
